Robots will take our jobs – and we’re not ready

I do a lot of reading about technology, and I have to ask – where are the jobs going to be for the next generation?

• Futurism – Robots Are Not Only Replacing Workers, They’re Also Lowering the Wages of Those With Jobs
• Portland Press Herald – Half of millennials are seeking jobs vulnerable to robot takeover, study suggests
• ZeroHedge – “Technology Has Changed The Game”: Why The Rise Of Robots Will Be A Permanent Deflationary Force

So, are there any solutions?  Yes, but the ones that are discussed skew left politically:

• Business Insider – Robots are going to take a lot of jobs — here’s what we could do about it  and  San Francisco is considering a once unthinkable measure to offset the threat of job-killing robots

Elon Musk wants to turn us all into cyborgs or something:

Hopefully this all works out – it usually does, but just in case – I will be monitoring the companies that should at least be able to profit from this trend.
