Stocks to Own – and Robophobia

I have been accused of having Robophobia:

Robophobia, robotaphobia (from Czech word robota, meaning “drudgery”) is the fear of robots, drones, robot-like mechanics or artificial intelligence. It frequently results in a panic attack and can be triggered by viewing a robot, being near a robot, or even just talking about robots.

Laugh if you want – but I find it hard not to worry when I read headlines like these:

O.K., enough with the Robophobia – let’s talk about stocks.

Even with Fridays pop – I am still maintaining my watchlist – here are the three stocks that continue to pass the “stocks to own” screen:

Ticker Price Fair Value Margin of Safety Yield %
AMGN $167.53 $194.00 $26.47 2.4%
WMT $66.50 $76.00 $9.50 3.0%
SEP $45.82 $50.00 $4.18 5.7%

Results are based on the following screen:

  1. Low fair value uncertainty.
  2. Wide moat.
  3. Morningstar rating 4 or more stars.
  4. Financial Health Grade >= B.
  5. Current P/E <= 20.

Extra Jimmy Kimmel had some fun with the Amazon Go concept:
