Options Trade – Comcast Corp Class A (CMCSA)

Decided to sell some covered calls on my Comcast Corp (CMCSA) holdings today – even though I am conflicted on the trade. Not a good time to be selling premium, but the stock has had a nice run and I want to start moving my individual stock holdings to my tax deferred accounts anyway – I retired this Spring, and want to cut down on my tax liabilities starting in 2024. I have 1023 shares of Comcast, with a cost basis less than $34.50.

Comcast goes ex-dividend on 7/3/2023 so I will still collect the dividend even if the shares are called away.
